New addition to JustForKitsap.com is our online storefront with LOTS of items to peruse, shop at the same rates as available at Amazon.com but at JustForKitsap.com web site. Click on the "The Store" in the main menu and search thru the 10 categories there.
Visit the store, it's just opened, suggestions welcomed, purchased adored! More on this new project later, as time permits.

2008 and time for upgrading is here. The blog link on JustForKitsap.com above opens a new window at Just For Kitsap Blog and there you'll see a login on the top right for new subscribers, only registered subscribers can comment in the blog (to preven spammers) At this point the blog is getting more and more traffic it seems and will grow as a result. Using a WordPress blog hosted at vDomainHosting is what makes things work just right, I look forward to your participation. There also is an RSS subscription of course to add that feed to your rss reader.
UPDATE-20080303 The theme of the blog is still called CutLine but this AM it was upgraded to the latest version, so the look is different than it was but still clean and easy to use.

If you've read anything at all about Content Management Systems (CMS), you'll probably know at least three things: CMS are the most exciting way to do business, CMS can be really, I mean really, complicated and lastly Portals are absolutely, outrageously, often unaffordably expensive.
Joomla! (this CMS system) is set to change all that ... Joomla! is different from the normal models for portal software. For a start, it's not complicated. Joomla! has been developed for the masses. It's licensed under the GNU/GPL license, easy to install and administer and reliable. Joomla! doesn't even require the user or administrator of the system to know HTML to operate it once it's up and running.
Registered Users -
can submit Links, news, calendar events, free online classifeds just for starters. To register
click on 'Register' on the right side below the Login button, in the
right side you will then see the login menu and a prompt to register.
Click Register and fill in the simple form with Name, Username, Email
and Password. You will receive an email shortly with confirmation that
your login has been approved for the site.
